Sticks and Stones, painted with my hands and palette knives incorporating subtle blending is a painting inspired by the majestic canyons of the southwest. Native American rock art called Petroglyphs and Pictographs can be found in the Santa Fe area, as well as many areas in the Four Corners region. Petroglyphs were carved into the stone and Pictographs were painted on walls and rocks.
This piece is my tribute to those people and cultures that came before us. I hope you will enjoy it.
