Gratitude, Grace & Giving

Gratitude, Grace & Giving

thanksgivingquote.jpg

Dear friends,

I have started my gratitude list for Thanksgiving week, something I do every year to reflect on the blessings of the year. And, I want you to know I count you among my many blessings. I am thankful for your kindness. I am thankful for the sharing of my art with friends and family. I am thankful for my collectors whose purchases allow me to continue painting. I am thankful for your daily company on social media. I would not be where I am today without God’s grace and your support.

May this Thanksgiving week find you counting the many blessings of this season of love, giving and sharing.

If you’ll be doing a little “giving” this holiday season, might I recommend a visit to my website, Fine Art Amercia shop or my VIDA fashion shop? I’m sure you’ll find that something special for yourself or someone on your gift list. From artwork to wearable art and home decor, I have you covered.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Where did 2016 go? It was just a blur for me friends ....so focused on getting my art career going. I am so happy to say that dream did come true, and I'm so excited to see what the coming year will bring.  This year I found my love of abstract painting. I can't tell you the joy creating abstract art gives me. I am able to express myself through colors, shapes and design. I hope this body of work resonates with you friends.

I am so grateful for your ongoing support and encouragement.  As a way to say thanks I'm giving away two of my 2017 Mary Mirabal Art calendars.  Mark down all your important dates in this lovely calendar. To enter the drawing just comment on this post by scrolling to the bottom of this post and click on "Comment".  Be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you if you're one of the lucky winners.  Two lucky readers will be randomly selected on January 3 so don't forget to comment.

These calendars also make great gifts and are available through my Zazzle shop.  Just click here to visit.  You can choose from three sizes.

However you celebrate the New Year, please be safe and remember to count your blessings.  Happy New Year friends.  Cheers, Mary

Every New Year we dream of a better world for us and ours. This Year let us take up the onus to make the world a better place for you, me and everyone else.

It's Pumpkin Season

It's Pumpkin Season!!

My favorite season of the year hands down is Fall.  What other season gives you such variety of the beauty in nature?  Colorful trees shedding their leaves like painted carpets.  Living here in Florida I either have to paint my own Fall or travel out of state to enjoy it.  Luckily, this year I get to do both.  I'll be traveling to Santa Fe in a couple weeks to take in the Aspens in their high desert Fall beauty.

Just Beyond The Trees is a new painting recalling the autumns of my youth growing up in Southern Maryland.  I've been gone 40 years, but will always miss the change of season.

I'm so excited to get to visit Santa Fe again to see the fall colors.  It's only been four months since my last visit this summer, but the city has been calling my name and I must go.

You know once Halloween comes then the holiday season is in full swing.  It will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas before we know it.  It's not to early to order your 2017 calendars.  I've just designed them and they make wonderful gifts!!  Available from my Zazzle shop in three sizes.  Just click on the photo for more information.

And, speaking of Christmas, I did a very limited edition of hand painted ornaments for your tree.  Four color palettes to select from (black/gold/white, purple/teal/white, blue/green/white and orange/gold/white). These glass ornaments are approximately 4" across and come gift boxed.  Each is individually hand painted so no two are identical.  I have only 13 left as of today. Please message me if you are interested. They're only $20 + shipping.

Each ornament is signed and dated.

Thanks for taking time to visit with me friends.  I hope you get lots of "treats" next week for Halloween.  I'm looking forward to trick or treating with our grandchildren.  Hopefully they'll share some chocolate with their "Gigi".

Until next time, I wish you many blessings, Mary

The artist knows he must be alone to create; the writer to work out his thoughts; the musician, to compose; the saint, to pray. But women need solitude in order to find again the true essence of themselves.
