Moments of Happiness was inspired by a photograph I took while driving the back roads in Northern New Mexico. The sun was starting to set and the sky was ablaze with color. We had to pull off the road to snap some picture to capture the moment. There’s always an amazing sunset in New Mexico.

This painting was created by layering luscious oil paints, oil sticks and cold wax on a cradled birch panel. All these elements come together beautifully and then the painting is framed in an antiqued gold float frame.

Ready to hang, framed in beautiful wood float frame.
