Free Falling, oil and cold wax on cradled birch panel (framed)

$500.00

Free Falling was inspired by a visit to Bandelier National Monument in northern New Mexico. Bandelier National Monument protects over 30,000 acres of rugged but beautiful canyon and mesa country. Human presence here dates back over 11,000 years. Petroglyphs, dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs, and standing masonry walls pay tribute to the early days of a culture that still survives in the surrounding communities.

This painting was created by layering luscious oil paints, oil sticks and cold wax on a cradled birch panel. All these elements come together beautifully and then the painting is framed in an antiqued gold float frame.

Ready to hang, framed in beautiful wood float frame.

14 x 14 inches framed
