Welcome to the inaugural blog for my new art website friends. Poppies no. 4 is one of my new, small canvas originals, and I chose to share this painting because it's vibrant and colorful. Just the way I love to paint. Poppies were also a favorite subject of my favorite artist, Georgia O'Keeffe. While we cannot grow them here in Florida because our climate is not compatible, I do love seeing and painting images of them.
