What Year is It?

What Year Is It?

Anyone else out there like me who is still having a hard time wrapping their heads around the fact that it is actually 2022? Hope it’s not just me. It’s mid February and I feel like I just got the Christmas decorations put away and still haven’t figured out where the heck 2021 went.

I realize I haven’t done a blog post in a over a year. Again I don’t know what happened to 2021!! Things were really crazy and nothing seemed to happen when or as it should have. Fingers crossed that that will change going forward this year. My goal is to touch base with you monthly via my blog as it’s getting more difficult for social media posts to be seen these days. I’m still on Facebook and Instagram, you just might not be receiving my posts.

I know most of the country is shoveling snow now, so how about some spring inspired art to brighten your day? Just click on the images below for more information.

Happy 2021 Quotes.jpg

I can’t believe we are already halfway through the first month of 2021. Anyone else out there who still has their Christmas tree up? All other holiday decorations have been stored away, but I’m finding some comfort in having a Christmas tree still lighting our home. I hope you and yours had a wonderful holiday season. Only 345 more days till Christmas!!

The landscape of 2021 is still unkown, but I am optimistic we will continue to slowly get back to a new normal with vaccines rolling out and people getting back to work. I’m excited about getting back into my studio to create new artwork. My mind is filled with flowers and floral inspired art at the moment. Don’t be suprised if you start seeing some coming out soon.

Spring Anticipation is a painting I started several months ago and just finished last week. It has a beautiful Spring like feel to it. It would compliment many decor situations, including a nursery or child’s room. And, it would make a fabulous one of a kind Valentine’s Day gift. If you’d like more information on this artwork, simply click on the images above.

Thank you so much for being a fan of my artwork. I truly appreciate your love and support. You help make my dream a reality. Wishing you many wonderful adventures in 2021!!

Happy Holidays 2020

Happy Holidays 2020

With only a few more weeks left in 2020 I wanted to take time to say how grateful I am to have such wonderful fans and collectors of my art. Your support means the world to me, especially during the challenging times we’ve had this year. It has been a difficult time for everyone and you’ve been in my thoughts and prayers.

I’m looking forward to a renewed faith going into 2021 So many events had to be cancelled or postponed this year. Hoping we can get back to actual live art openings and exhibitions in 2021. I also want to thank the galleries that represent me. It has been a most challenging year for them as well. Thank you to Hat Ranch Gallery and Turquoise Butterfly Gallery in Santa Fe, NM; and Sloan Home in Atlanta, GA. And, in Tampa a big thanks to Dwell Home.

Art is one thing we can count on to always be with us. Art can brighten up a room and a mood. Art brings reminders of places and people that are dear to our hearts. I have found comfort this year in the artwork decorating our home.

The end of the year is a time of year for remembrance. We take stock of where we came from, and have a moment to think about where we are going, as we pursue the future with hope. May your new year be all that you hope for, and may it be sprinkled with love and friendship. Happy Holidays!
